Rhythm In Lines

Rhythm #1
The lines in rhythm 1 are all the same quality. They vary in thickness and space in between them. I created rhythm by using long jagged lines. The lines can take your eyes in various directions. They could be going across, down, or up the page. It portrays something very upbeat and loud. The bolder lines tend to stand out a bit, but do not take away focus from the other lines. It consists on sharp lines with no curves. If this was put into an actual musical rhythm, I would think of it being Rock. The lines go well together and don’t over power each other, even with different in thickness.
 Rhythm #2
The lines in rhythm 2 have different quality. It consists on bold lines, and broken lines. If you look closely the broken lines are thinner. There is an upward motion. All the lines are curved. Even though the broken lines are thin, they stand out because there is so many of them (in between the bold lines). This makes good balance. The rhythm portrayed would be Pop, something calm but pleasing.
