So some of you might wonder, who was Andy Warhol? Andy was a famous artist from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.You might know him because of his pale skin and crazy white-blonde wigs. He was one of the most important artists, also known for his pop art.
Andy liked to draw and paint since he was a kid. He loved celebrities. Then he started collecting cut outs of different celebrities. They where used for his art.He did blotted line art by using ink and paper. Then after went over with colour.
Later he moved to New York with only $200. He also did album covers and coke bottles. Andy did painting's and traded them in at a cafe. Soon he started doing Campbell's soup cans. I believe there are 32 different types. Then he did silk screening and movies.He became very popular. There is a museum filled with his art to this day.
